Cool new blog, Joe! Thanks for the intro to Kunstler. Could I ask, where are you finding all these great old, pulpy men's magazine paintings? I checked up on him via the 'net and can only find his Civil War stuff, which doesn't really interest me. The paintings you posted are really bad-ass!
As a Mort Kunstler fan, you might like to know (if you don't already) that he did the paintings for the Aurora model kits of "The Man from U.N.C.L.E." back in the '60s: http://solovision.aithine.org/nsart/aurora1.jpg
ALL THE STUFF POSTED ON THIS SITE IS THE PROPERTY OF THE RESPECTIVE COPYRIGHT HOLDERS. no infringement has been intended.
if it's yours, and you want acknowledgement, then, please, tell me, and i'll acknowledge it. and, of course, if it's yours, and you want it removed, then, you only have to say so, and i'll remove it.
in all cases, needless to say, the credit lies with the original creators / publishers / posters / scanners, and not with me.
