My Man Godfrey is one of my very favorite movies. I tentatively plan at some point to do a voice-over commentary on it, to post to the 'Net. (Godfrey was allowed to slip into the public domain, though I think that the Criterion Collection version is worth buying.)
carole+lombard.+024.jpg, the picture of Lombard in the long-skirted, black dress, is perhaps the nicest image of her that I've ever seen.
